What’s new in Take Care of Your Own Pure Vanilla compared to the old version?

A thematic shift that may be surprising

• Original (Shadow Milk): allowed both nurturing and “trolling” behaviors, experimental, sometimes a bit chaotic.

• Pure Vanilla: focuses entirely on care and relaxation, discouraging negative behavior. This creates a gentle style of gameplay, perfectly fitting the kind and compassionate nature of the character in Cookie Run.

Minimalist space

• Before: players had up to 4 rooms (main room, bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom) with lots of items.

• Now: reduced to just 2 rooms (Main Room & Bedroom). This simplification makes the experience neat, beginner-friendly, and emphasizes privacy.

Index system remains but optimized

• Still the familiar 4 stats: hunger, energy, health, and cleanliness.

• However, the interface icons in Pure Vanilla are clearer and more intuitive, making it easy for newcomers to understand right away.

Emotions in sync with the character

• Pure Vanilla in CRK is known for healing and compassion → this version removes “punishment” or harsh challenges, turning the character into a truly lovable “pet.”
